Lā Kūʻokoʻa is Independence Day in Hawaiʻi, not July 4. The illegal overthrow of the Hawaiian Kingdom negates Doleʻs July 4th declaration of the “ Republic of Hawaiʻi”, and everything else that has come after without the consent of the Hawaiian people. E ola mau ka lāhui Hawaiʻi!
